It’s been a busy couple days.  Yesterday, mom got to go home from the hospital.  It was tough leaving babies behind in the NICU but we all know it’s for the better of our children.

On top of this, Hudson was put back on his bili light as his bilirubin raised slightly and they want to do this as a cautionary measure.  Hopefully after labs are run tomorrow he will be able to come back off the lights for good.

Later this evening, the twins were moved to the secondary NICU unit.  The first unit is mainly for moms that are still in the hospital as it is closer to labor and delivery.  They get the same care, just a different area where we can stay with them when we want.  This should be a more comfortable area, although we got to know many of the nurses in the other NICU area which was nice.

We are hoping Harper and Hudson will only have to be in the NICU for a couple more weeks.  They are both slowly becoming more comfortable taking a bottle which is one of the main things they have to be able to do in order to safely leave the hospital.
